IS THE FOOD AT TENUTA di SPANNOCCHIA REALLY WORLD RENOWNED?

Yep. All the vegetables, meat, wine, and honey are organically grown/cultivated on the farm and prepared by Graziella Capanni who has been cooking at Spannocchia for generations. She prepares traditional, four-course Tuscan meals every night that might go something like this: an antipasto of sliced, raw porcini mushrooms with large flakes of parmesan cheese, lemon and olive oil; then, first course, hand-made lasagna with béchamel sauce; second course, venison with roasted fennel and potatoes; third course, salad; and finally, chocolate and chestnut truffles.
